Houses on Honeycrock Lane
These houses were probably built after the nearby Salfords station opened in 1915.The roof line is interrupted by the one house that has had a prominent dormer window added.

Christ the King Church, Salfords Surrey
The building of the new church began in 1958, designed by David Evelyn Nye, ARIBA. The Foundation Stone was laid on 13th September. On 5th October 1967 the Cupola and Cross (that weighed some two tons) were hoisted by a mobile crane into position on the roof of the new church. The church was now complete and capable of seating about 300 people. The Dedication of the new church was held on 31st October 1967. http://www.salfordsparish.com/directions1.htm

Interior of the church of Christ the King
The construction of this church takes the form of laminated timber columns supporting a steeply pitched roof. This view is eastwards towards the main altar, above which is a suspended sounding-board. The cross on the east wall had been covered with purple cloth during Holy Week, as part of Catholic tradition.
