Arun floodplain
Taken from the footpath past Guildenhurst Manor (unseen to the left). We are looking down on Guildenhurst Bridge, a swingbridge over the River Arun, here in a wide floodplain. The next grey area to the right is the site of another Guildenhurst Bridge over the Wey and Arun Canal.

Footpath towards Guildenhurst
This path crosses parkland. I thought the gate might be designed with part of the bars missing, but it appears that it is suffering from woodworm. There is another similar one at the far end here Image]
