Post box in brick pillar
Crouchmans Crossroads Postbox No.RH14 90 At Image I wonder if, when the brickwork needs re-pointing, will the Post Office just knock it down and replace it with box on a steel post. More probably they'll just remove it completely. At the bottom of the brick pillar is a Ordnance Survey cut benchmark http://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm33441 which I missed when I was there - many thanks to Roger Templeman http://www.geograph.org.uk/profile/45003 for spotting it.

Junction of Glasshouse Lane and Crimbourne Lane
Seen from Crimbourne Lane. The top 'finger' of the sign should have been pointing towards me and not to the right. It was quite loose and I corrected it before I left. The gateway in the centre gives a good view of Image and the South Downs beyond.
