A parade of shops built in the late 1980s as part of a resiential development on land once occupied by Wilton Villa and its extensive grounds. Originally containing four shops one of which has now been converted to an office. Currently occupied by a beauty salon, a bakery, a chippy and an accountant. See also Image

Obscured by the tree on the left is the village butchers which has been operating here since 1884. The current owners, SK Hutchings, have been here since 1989 and supply many local eateries with produce from a number of local farms. The house dates from the 19th century.

The small trading estate is located off the High Street and was originally the site of Meyer's Wood. Still a wood on a 1946 aerial photograph it was grubbed soon after in order to build an egg packing facility. This continued in operation until 1970 after which the buildings were converted into small business units primarily for new start ups. There are currently 32 units on the estate though some have been combined. At the time of writing Unit 30 was occupied by a cycling company and Units 31-32 by a computer network business.

Unit 8 on the left is currently empty whilst Unit 9 to the right is occupied by a sign writer. Originally the site of Meyers Wood the estate was built in the 1950s as an egg packing plant which closed in the 1970s. Since 1974 it has been split into small business units and currently possesses 26 which at the time of writing only four were empty.

Originally the site of a shop that was demolished around the turn of the 21st century and replaced by these cottages.

Built in the late 19th century probably as three cottage. Prospect House is on the right and is a private dwelling whilst the rest of the building is taken up by The Old Bakehouse, originally the village bakery, but since the mid 1990s a veterinary surgery.
