Still a wood on a 1946 aerial photograph it was grubbed soon after in order to build an egg packing facility. This continued in operation until 1970 after which the buildings were converted into small business units primarily for new start ups. There are currently 32 units on the estate though some have been combined. At the time of writing unit 4 was occupied by Set Productions Ltd who also used Unit 4a on the western side, see

Unit 8 on the left is currently empty whilst Unit 9 to the right is occupied by a sign writer.
Originally the site of Meyers Wood the estate was built in the 1950s as an egg packing plant which closed in the 1970s. Since 1974 it has been split into small business units and currently possesses 26 which at the time of writing only four were empty.

Huffwood Trading Estate
To the south of the High Street, the site was originally occupied by brickmakers until the early 20th century. Post 1945 this was an egg packing station that utilised goods facilities at nearby Partridge Green station. The egg packing survived the line by eight years before closing in 1974 to be replaced by small industrial units.
