Comptons Lane, Horsham
This picture of Comptons Lane was taken in 1963 when it was still a lane and there was a small plant nursery a hundred yards behind the camera (where there is now a roundabout). Pollards Drive is the road to the right to be seen behind the trees.

Roundabout on B2195, Horsham, West Sussex
A major intersection in this part of the town for the main through road from the NE (Crawley direction). An interesting feature about this (and another roundabout in this area) is that it is a five way intersections. View taken from the WSW (town centre side of the roundabout).

Leechpool Woods, Horsham, West Sussex
On the fringes of the original St Leonards Forest area. These woods offer a recreation area for the people of Horsham. The overall area (administrated by Horsham District Council) includes Owlbeech and Leechpool Woods. Entrance to the area (where the picture was taken) is through Leechpool woods in grid square TQ1931. Owlbeech woods spread well into TQ2031. The woodland is mixed and includes many mature broadleaved deciduous trees in the Leechpool area. Facilities include a car park, information board, metalled path circuit and a permanent orienteering course. A popular area for dog walkers.
