The Coot , Merryfield Drive
Built on the former Cootes Farm in the 1950s this pub was presumably named after the waterfowl that still populate the Image from which this shot was taken. For a few years this pub went under the name of the Merry Monk. The current pub sign seems to be an accurate facsimile of the original.
