Railway line near Horsham
This is the railway line going south from Horsham towards Arundel, viewed from the footbridge taking the public footpath from Horsham to Denne Park. The 1880 Ordnance Survey map describes this footbridge as Barrack Field Crossing.

South from Horsham
A somewhat foreshortened view from the footbridge at Barrackfield Crossing. Trains divide at Horsham, one portion heading for Bognor Regis, the other for Portsmouth. This is the front four coaches of the twelve-coach train which set out from Victoria.
