Site of former disgraced nursing home, Goffs Park Road, Crawley
Once the former Oakhurst Grange nursing home, a large purpose-built establishment of no great age, with four residential blocks. BUPA run, its standards of care were unacceptable at several inspections, and eventually West Sussex County Council terminated their contract and moved out its residents (the majority). It then closed. Some years later the remarkably large site was cleared to the ground. For a view after closure but before demolition, see Image
