An odd situation (but repeated elsewhere in this area) where the first block is numbered in Blackthorn Close, which is behind the camera, and the second block in Langley Drive, which is at the end of the walk.

The names of the lesser roads in this area have a bird theme. There is little 'Rise' to this road, one way or the other. It seems some local government officer thought it an appropriate match for a bird that rises on high.
