The final block up the hill of a string of blocks along the north side of the road. Sodium street lighting is being replaced with a more efficient type in this area.

Snowy Worth Road, Crawley
This came down quite quickly, when I wasn't looking. It closed Gatwick Airport, incoming flights diverting to Bournemouth, Cardiff, Luton, Birmingham, Manchester and Paris, at least.

Road surfacing by night
This length of Balcombe Road between junctions, and the junctions, were being resurfaced over several nights. The main action here is down by the Worth Road turning, here a man is attending to the twiddly bits and a roller is trundling up and down on the otherwise finished half of the road.

Road surfacing by night
This Balcombe Road - Worth Road junction, together with the Balcombe Road - Turners Hill Road junction behind the camera, were being resurfaced, spread over several nights. All three roads were blocked to traffic.
