Public 'footpath' 3395, Pound Hill, Crawley
An oddity, on the West Sussex on-line right-of-way map it is a bridleway. Further, it is mapped as running at the foot of the old railway embankment as far as The Bower/Maidenbower Lane. The last part of this route past allotments is almost, if not fully, impassible now. In practice, this ramp gives access to Knepp Close Playing Field. The substitute through route, much used, is part of the Worth Way and is along the top of the railway embankment. That part of the Worth Way (NCN 21) in parallel with bridleway 3395 appears to be by grace and favour, with no use by right.
