Up and over the bank around the local nature reserve, which is really a prettified flood meadow for a stream emerging from a culvert under the built-up area and feeding into the Gatwick Stream.

Adjacent to St Andrews Church, Furnace Green, primary school for pupils aged 4 to 11. Formerly First and Middle School. Opened in 1968.
