In a more established part of this yet growing new Crawley neighbourhood. A dead-end, but longer than it looks, it turns right at the trees.

Path though Forge Wood reaches Rickmans Avenue
It was blocked off because some work was going on on the path surface, but on a Sunday there was no work and the path was perfectly serviceable.

Road closed for path through Forge Wood
When I passed the other end on Balcombe Road a few days earlier there was no barrier. As the path is clearly not a road, I proceeded. The surface was being tinkered with, but no work was going on on a Sunday, and it was perfectly serviceable. This is the Rickmans Avenue end.
