It seems that this has been done with some sort of approval, no doubt in an attempt to brighten up the place as there is a rather large number of empty units at present.

At a time when the business is carrying out a cull of its branches, this one has so far survived. The fencing is nothing to do with the store, but to do with resurfacing the pedestrian area.
