Hartslock View
This close of a dozen or so houses is called Hartslock View, which is exactly what it is because beyond can be seen Hartslock Wood on the north (Oxfordshire) side of the River Thames.

KX100 Telephone Box in Lower Basildon
Situated on the A329 Reading Road RG8 9NL, this telephone box has been converted into an "Exchange Library" where books inside it are available for people to take out and hopefully bring them back afterwards. Notices explaining this scheme have been fixed to this telephone box. The house to the left of the photo is one of eight in Hartslock View.

This notice has been fixed to the telephone box on the A329 Reading Road RG8 9NL and has the following wording:
EXCHANGE LIBRARY
Here's how it works. Browse the books on offer, if
you find one you like, take it home and read it. If
you have a book at home that you have finished
with please leave it in the library for someone else
to enjoy.
As there is no light in the kiosk, it will be locked at
dusk.
Please replace books back on shelves and keep it
tidy.
This is a community project for all the village.
