Christ Church, Woodley
Built in 1982 replacing the Old Church attached which was built in 1968 and is now the Church Hall. The buildings are shared by the Methodists and the United Reformed Church.

Large Tree on Fairwater Drive
Just getting into its Autumn colours, this tree is a fine specimen and obviously a left over from before all these houses were built.
Though I wonder if the people living in its shadow sometimes wish they could have sunny afternoons like their neighbours get.

A suburban garden in the snow
Woodley is dominated by housing estates, but as may be seen on the most detailed map of the area, the gardens of houses nearer to the main shopping centre, such as this one, are of a good size, unlike some of those belonging to houses on the far newer estates covering the former airfield, which can often be very tiny in comparison.
