Woodley Precinct, Crockhamwell Road
The Woodley Precinct was built in the mid 1960s to serve the growing population of Woodley after post-WW2 building of new housing estates. Crockhamwell Road originally remained open to through traffic but was later pedestrianised.

Former Bejam freezer food store, Crockhamwell Road
The Iceland store in Woodley was formally one for Bejam, more or less the predecessor company to Iceland, when opened within the Crockhamwell Road shopping development (1982-84). The store was opened by HRH Princess Anne on 15/5/84.
