Waymarked path in Clayfield Copse
Clayfield Copse was designated Reading's first Local Nature Reserve in 1991. There are several waymarkers, carved from cedar trees which blew down in a storm.

Old Milestone by the Scout Hut, Jefferson Close, Reading parish
Carved stone post was on B478, in parish of READING (READING District), was at Caversham, beside Milestone Wood; now in the grounds of the Scout Hut of the 89th (Milestone Wood) Scout Group, Jefferson Close, Emmer Green, in well cut grass outside main hut. Bath Road Caversham stone, erected by the Twyford & Theale turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- XXX(VIII) (To London) Carved benchmark on lower front face. Milestone Society National ID: OX_LBC38.

Reading Golf Club 18th green and clubhouse
Golfers finishing their round on the 436 yard, par 4, 18th. A long finish with stroke index 6 and a prospect of a hot shower after a soggy morning. The parkland course was laid out by James Braid just over 100 years ago.
