Tilehurst
After the relentless suburbia it comes as a bit of a surprise that there is a subsidiary commercial centre. This is the original village - possibly a small town - of Tilehurst, long since swallowed by the mighty Reading.

Tilehurst "Village"
Though it was a small town, and is now quite a significant commercial centre, Tilehurst likes to stress its 'villageness' - hence the Village Coffee Bar.

Beverley Road roundabout
A roundabout at the end of Beverley Road. There is a footpath to the right that leads to Elmstone Drive, Ashton Close, Oak View, Chapel Hill and Lambourne Close.

British Trolleybuses - Reading
A view at Tilehurst Triangle from a trolleybus bound for the town centre. Tilehurst is an old established village which has been absorbed into Reading but is still an important local commercial centre. The view has changed little over the years.
