Swallowfield road no longer goes straight on to Arborfield Cross, the junction has been staggered as shown on the sign.

Bartlett's Farm, Arborfield
The brick farmhouse dates back to the late 16th Century and is a Grade II* Listed Building. The farm was part of the Swallowfield Park Estate until it was sold in 1913.

Arborfield Cross Relief Road under construction
Looking north-west from Swallowfield Road near Arborfield Court. The new bypass for Arborfield Cross runs parallel to Greensward Lane at this point. The former Berkshire County Council office at Nores Hill can be seen in the distance.
