New development, Barber Road. The block is known as Newman Court and is described as "an Extra Care scheme offering spacious, attractive apartments for rent and shared ownership for over 55s with varied care needs." It is managed by Saxon Weald. On Friday 10th September 2010 the new development was completely destroyed in an arson attack and work had to start all over again.
