Wasted space
Paved areas behind the houses in Taverner Close. Why did the developers not allow for larger gardens for the kids to play in?

Oakridge estate housing
Typical cheap builds between Taverner Close and Westray Close. Flats behind the photographer have just been demolished, not before time. The whole area is undergoing a major housing redevelopment 2013-14.

Changed forever

Open land within the estate
Whilst I appreciate these areas of open ground they never appear to be put to much use. Usually there is a sign saying 'No Ball Games'! Just what kids on an estate need. This is a view from Taverner Close.

Now starts the hard part
Knocking the flats down may be relatively straight forward. Now the rubble has to be gathered up, moved to another area of the site, ground up and then placed in trucks to be carried away.

Bus Stop - Norn Hill
Coming out of town the bus stops don't have any shelters. I suppose it makes sense, you get off and hurry home.
