The terraced houses are on the stretch between London Street an East Street. On the right hand side are some offices beyond East Street and the spire of the Polish Catholic church on Watlington Street.

Over the front door is written "EMPLOYERS" so I guess this is a former job centre.
It has that sort of Municipal look to it.

Construction work on London Street
Viewed from the upper storey on a double decker bus, 43 London Street (previously a dental surgery) has been demolished aside from the ground floor frontage, allowing for a view through to the buildings behind, which are on London Court and East Street.

This shows the area just south of the junction with Queen's Road with Great Expectations hotel and bar (formerly the Everyman Theatre). London Street is largely offices with some shops. The spires are in SU7273 and belong to a Methodist and a Polish Catholic church.
