A park in Newbury: it was the private garden of Greenham House, which is now a day nursery. It is on the corner of the A343.

Subway below Queens Road roundabout, Newbury
A rather under-utilised subway below Queens Road roundabout. Pedestrians tend to opt for the traffic lights further north or sprinting across the dual carriageway and climbing the fences. Only two weeks ago a man died after being hit by a car on the A339 only a little further south: don't risk it!

The A339 at Newbury
This is where it effectively leaves the town, and has only one more roundabout to contend with. The building of this road relegated Newtown Road to being a quiet side road.
