Engine House, Coppull Ring Mill
Once home to a 1906 built J & E Wood of Bolton horizontal four cylindertriple-expansion steam engine. The marks on the facing wall indicate where the boiler house was demolished. The chimney has also gone. The mill is now in multiple occupancy.

Coppull Ring Spinning Mill
The enormous size of the mill built by the Coppull Spinning Company Limited in 1906 can be appreciated here. The block protruding at the right-hand end was the engine house and the dark glass-faced tunnel at roof level immediately above was part of the rope-race through which belts and cables from the engines ran to power line-shafting on each floor the length of the mill. From this line-shafting further belts ran down to each spinning machine. Since closure as a spinning mill, the building has been taken over by Lancashire Enterprises and modified to accommodate a number of small firms dealing in various ways.

Coppull Ring Mill
This well captures the grandeur of this 1906 cotton spinning mill. It is recognisably by the well known Oldham Mill architects Stott & Sons.
