Centenary Mill
This former mill was once part of the mighty Horrocks cotton empire. Horrocks's cotton was known the world over from the 1800s to the 1960s, and Preston was the centre of spinning and weaving. A larger mill a few hundred yards away from this one was demolished in the 1980s, but although this building remains it is now light industrial units.
