St.John the Evangelist, Wroxall, Isle of Wight

Wroxall church
St. John's church was built in 1875-1877 and the tower was added in 1911. The stone used was from the nearby railway tunnel which had been excavated a few years earlier, but this has proved to be of poor quality. I also doubt the quality of the more recent church hall to the left.
