Hambledon Hotel, 11 Queen's Road, Shanklin, Isle of Wight
This area is full of hotels and guest houses. It is both near the town centre and the beach. The Hambledon Hotel is located at the intersection of Palmerston Road and Queen's Road. There are hotels on the other three corners of the intersection.

Eastcliff Promenade, Shanklin, Isle of Wight
The road in the foreground is Eastcliff Promenade which makes a right turn into Osborne Road. At the end of Eastcliff Promenade a footpath continues, which is part of the Coastal Path. The seafront and beach are on the left, but at a much lower level. There are paths and a cliff lift near here which give access.
