Chapel Cottage, former Methodist chapel and Crosby Cottage
Victorian buildings on Lower Green Road. The former chapel dates from the mid 19th Century (marked on the 1866 6 inch map as "Ebenezer Chapel, Wesleyan Methodist" and on later maps as "Methodist Chapel (Wesleyan)") but closed in the 1950s after which it became a youth club. A fire in the rear of the building in 2008 forced its closure but is seen here being restored with an extension being added at the rear so it can reopen.
