Houses at Medham Farm
The grounds of Medham Farm have had a number of large houses built on them, surrounded by a "private residents only" wall. In the distance the chimneys of Cowes power station on the opposite bank of the River Medina.

Private road, Northwood
A private road runs east from the main Newport to Cowes Road to end at a footpath. Here, from the junction with the footpath, we are looking west along the road. It is not surfaced and comprises a selection of 1930's bungalows.

Footpath access
A solid stone gateway/stile separates two parts of the footpath, which here turns sharp right to go behind the houses at Medham Farm. The silver birch trees are part of one of the gardens.

Footpath to Northwood
From the cycleway two paths head west towards Northwood. This is the more northerly of the two with Calving Close Copse on the right and grassland to the left before the houses at Medham Farm.
