Houses and gardens on Egypt Hill
At about the steepest point on Egypt Hill, these new houses look out over the Solent. Their front gardens are densely planted with a multitude of brightly coloured flowers. Because of the wide angle needed, this image is two photographs joined together.

This must be the most northerly point on the Isle of Wight. The road is Egypt Esplanade.

House near Egypt Point
I cannot find a name for this house, overlooking Egypt Point and therefore with a claim to be the most northerly house on the Isle of Wight. If I had to guess a date, I'd say mid to late 17th century.

Egypt Point Lighthouse
This light is situated at Egypt Point near the entrance to Cowes Harbour. The light was discontinued in 1989 and was handed over to the Local Authority in 1997 to be maintained as a landmark. http://www.lighthouse-duo.net/lh1/Egypt%20Point/EgyptPt.html
