Park and picnic area on Queens Road
This small park area with mature trees at the junction of Queens Road and Mornington Road has several picnic tables as well as public conveniences (the building on the right), and views across the Solent. Yacht racing was taking place on the evening when this photograph was taken.

Solent view
These terraced houses have one of the best views of The Solent in Cowes as it's only a few hundred feet away. You however, will just have to use a little imagination!

Queens Road and the coast
Queens Road runs along this quiet stretch of northern coast. The car ferry from Southampton can be seen in the distance as it approaches Cowes. This pleasant walk along the coast leads all the way into Cowes town. This part of Queens Road also gives good views of the large ships that approach and leave Southampton through the Solent.
