Pagham: Nyetimber Windmill
This disused windmill is at the end of the cul-de-sac named after it, off Pagham Road. It is a Grade II Listed Building and the Historic England website describes it, somewhat inaccurately, thus:-
"Built about 1840. Tower mill, built of brick, tarred, but now entirely engulfed in ivy. Cap, sweeps and fantail all missing."
The website also describes a second Grade II Listed Building in the vicinity as the Mill Cottage and plots it on the map where the modern bungalow is on the left. The website describes it as "Tiny C18 cottage. Two storeys. One window. Faced with flints and brick, now painted. Thatched roof. Casement windows." Either the Historic England co-ordinates are wrong or the building has been demolished.

The Lion pub sign, Nyetimber Lane
The pub has two signs, both attached to wooden posts outside the pub. This one has a coat of arms, the other does not. This is a Hall & Woodhouse pub. This Dorset brewery is an independent family owned one, now run by the 5th generation of the family. The brewery was founded in 1777.
