Pagham Cricket Club sign, Nyetimber Lane, Nyetimber
The cricket club's ground is at Nyetimber Lane in Nyetimber. It is next door to the local football club ground. According to its useful website, the club, established in 1895, has two league sides which play in the Sussex Cricket League on Saturdays. It also has three social sides representing the club on Sundays, against a wide variety of clubs in Hampshire and Sussex. In addition there are three junior sides.

Pagham Pram Race (10)
An annual event held every Boxing Day since 1947 to raise money for charity, local people flock to cheer on the competing teams (one of whom must remain in the pram at all times) as they hurtle round a 3 mile route with several "refuelling" stops at local hostelries en route!

An annual event held every Boxing Day since 1947 to raise money for charity, local people flock to cheer on the competing teams (one of whom must remain in the pram at all time) as they hurtle round a 3 mile route with several "refuelling" stops at local hostelries en route! These are the runners up, 'The Village People'.

The Lion, Nyetimber Lane
A very old pub which, according to its Grade II listing, dates from the 16th century or earlier. The pub itself claims to be 15th century and has the date 1407 painted on the front, although the source for this I'm not currently aware of.
