Rough ground at Burridge
With remains of herpetological fencing (brown and white coloured plastic) which was presumably used before new housing was built upon the area behind and to right of the camera.

Scrap yard and herpetological fencing at Burridge
Rough ground with a scrap yard beyond. Behind the camera the ground has been given over to new housing development. The plastic panels, brown on one side and white on the other are specialised fencing to prevent amphibians from crossing (http://www.herpetosure.com/ ). However, the fencing was not continuous and I presume has served its purpose.

Burridge: the post office
Housed within the garage of one of the houses along the main road, this post office is due to be closed in January 2008.
