BT telephone exchange-Fareham
BT exchange at the junction of The Avenue and Highlands Rd. Its unmanned, but there is always somebody working in it. Presumably because of the huge expansion of telecoms taking place everywhere.

Fareham: forlorn phone box on Catisfield Lane corner
This telephone box stands at the now-dead end of Catisfield Lane, where it originally came out onto the A27 which is just alongside us. It is in a rather unloved state - doorless, and with a broken receiver dangling out of one of the glassless windows. See Image for a close-up!

Fareham: trying to get an outside line?
A view from inside the Image, providing detail of the receiver which has been left dangling out of the box, with its wires in turn dangling out of the broken plastic of the handset. The box is glassless and doorless.
The main A27 is seen in the background, passing the erstwhile junction of Catisfield Lane which heads off to the right.
