Reeds Road at night (3)
I'm doing this work for a few reasons; for one, there doesn't seem to be any definitive record of Gosport by night, and for another, it ties in nicely with my AS Photography course, in which I am taking inspiration from the likes of Brassai and Becher & Becher. As a third reason, I can use the first but alter the question a bit; not just 'why am I doing this work', but 'why am I doing it and putting it on Geograph?'. To which the answer remains similar: there is no record, other than my own, of Gosport by night on Geograph. There are many thousands of photos taken during the day - but none at night.
My work, thus, is me attempting to alter that, but on a deeper level, it is my exploration and documentation of a world completely alien to most of us, and one of which we take very little notice, yet which is alive in its own sense while all else around it sleeps - the world of the night.
