The link trail follows a path along the line of a dismantled tramway (the Lee Moor tramway, I think) through woodland on the east side of the Forder Valley.

Road Junction in the Valley
This road used to be the main route through Plymouth into Cornwall until the Parkway was built. It is quiet on a Sunday afternoon but will be a different story in the Monday morning rush hour.
