10-15 Corporation Buildings, Looe Street, Plymouth
In the late C19th slums were cleared and in their place arose early examples of municipal housing ("workmen's homes" on the foundation stone). These tenements were built c1898 by James Paton, the Borough Engineer and Architect. Like houses in the adjacent Vauxhall Street it is now painted a distinctive blue. Grade II listed.
