Origin of the name 'Finn VC Estate', Bodmin
This information board is by the road through the estate, between Dennison Road and Lower Bore Street. It tells how Bodmin boy James Henry Finn won the Victoria Cross for his selfless bravery on 9 April 1916.

Bodmin Library
This building was opened in 1897 as the John Passmore Edwards Bodmin Free Library, one of the many buildings in Cornwall endowed by the Victorian philanthropist. It has suffered many structural problems in the past and judging by the scaffolding still does.
