Bosvenna View, Bodmin
Very similar to Image, but a slight different angle and I seem to have wandered a few metres down the hill and captured a bit more of the farmland across the valley; but let's face it, it's the same scene. Four of my last five submissions have been almost identical scenes to those taken by earlier visitors. Great minds, I could say.

Bodmin General Station
On the preserved Bodmin and Wenford Railway. This is a terminal station with the line splitting in two directions to essentially provide two different journeys - one to Bodmin Parkway and the other to Boscarne Junction. Longer term plans include extension to Wadebridge.

Bodmin General Station Platform
This is the main station of the Bodmin & Wenford Railway - a heritage steam line. The station was opened in 1887 by the Great Western Railway, but was closed by British Railways in 1967. Regular passenger services by the heritage railway began in 1990.

Bodmin & Wenford Railway
Two locomotives at Bodmin General Station. The L&SWR T9 class 30120 was restored to working order by this heritage line. On this visit, she was about to be transported to Dorchard as a visiting locomotive for the Dean Forest steam special weekend. GWR 5619 was working at Bodmin, handling 5-coach trains on the steep gradients which make this line so attractive.
