Carbis Brickworks - Water pipeline

Roche: Carbis Brickworks
Cupola or beehive kiln. One of three to be preserved here, but the only one to retain its domed roof. Now within the Carbis Wharf holiday lets complex, which includes the converted Wheal Prosper china clay dries

Carbis Brickworks - Beehive Kiln
The only roofed kiln left (of three). This complex has been converted to holiday lets. The brickworks is Grade II Listed dating back to 1830; the site was later converted to a clay drying works due to the growth of the china clay industry. This shows the coal input for the kiln.

This contains the remains of three beehive kilns (two have lost their tops), a brick chimney, brickmaking machinery and a very deteriorated waterwheel. These are now surrounded by holiday lets.
