Robey Trust, Tavistock - undertype steam engine
This is a very major rebuild of a duplex undertype engine that was recovered in a comprehensively wrecked state. It dates from c1900 and went out of use in 1926. The flywheel had been scrapped and the boiler wrecked by having a fire in it while dry and also having a large 'flue' knocked through the tube plates. See - Image
