Plymouths' contribution to art?
This artwork looks more interesting from the train in my opinion, but would still prefer the old line back.

Victoria Park Bowling Green
The strange metal edifice behind the clubhouse is an art installation left over from an exhibition in Plymouth several years ago which nobody bothered to take down. It is perched on the supports of an old railway viaduct from the Southern Railway line which would have taken trains to their terminus at Millbay Station. Behind it are the stone arches of a viaduct on the Great Western line which is still in use.

Houses at Pennycomequick
Stuart Road, in the delightfully named suburb of Pennycomequick. Central Park is behind, on the hill.
This photo was taken from the 1158 Penzance to London Paddington train, having left Liskeard at 1332 and shortly to arrive at Plymouth.
