Carved stone post by the A395, in parish of TREWEN (NORTH CORNWALL District), Pipers Pool, opposite entrance to modern house, against bank, on North side of road. Launceston pillar, erected by the Launceston turnpike trust in the 19th century.

Junction at Pipers Pool
Photogenic and the popular view of the hamlet - see http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=55262884 . This is the A395, and the right turn takes you, by a twisty route, to Egloskerry. The house is rather charmingly named Sunny Corner Cottage; next door is the Methodist Sunday School.
