A bit of a monster, brought to life by the mid-C19th arrival of the Great Western Railway. Built c1870. Grade II listed.

New Continental Hotel, Plymouth
This block was a layer addition to the original 1870 hotel in Millbay Road to the left. The hotel was built by the Great Western Railway alongside its terminal station on the site now occupied by Plymouth Pavilions. It is Listed Grade II.
