Whitsand Bay Hotel
A view of Whistsand Bay Hotel taken from its own grounds. The building dates originally from the late C19th but was reconstructed here at the beginning of the C20th, and had become a hotel by 1910. Whitsand Bay Hotel

Finnygook Lane carries the South West Coast Path at this point.

Finnygook Lane, Portwrinkle
A cliff-top village with a quaint Cornish name. The large building on the horizon is the Whitsand Bay Hotel. The road takes its name from Finnygook Beach which can be seen towards the left of the picture. The hill is Finnygook Knoll, about 60 metres above sea level.

Whitsand Bay Hotel
This building was built in 1871 by Baron Graves in Torpoint! It was moved stone by stone to Portwrinkle and then opened as a hotel shortly afterwards in 1910.
