Charles MacIntosh - The "Perthshire Naturalist"
His memorial stone in Little Dunkeld Kirkyard. Charles MacIntosh of Inver [1839-1922] was the local postman and, more importantly, an excellent naturalist and mentor to Beatrix Potter. He was particularly interested in fungi and encouraged her to study them; as a result she became a very competent mycologist, before moving on to become well known as a children's author.

Single-storey, ashlar. Asymmetrical gable and semi-circular bay window. Diamond-paned glass. Presumably c.1808 by Thomas Telford. Grade B listed. Listing number LB11159.

Designed by John Stewart, construction of Little Dunkeld Parish Church began in 1797, and replaced the earlier medieval building, which was described in 1793 as "ruinous".
