Site of the old mercat cross
An ornate Victorian lamppost occupies the former site of the town's cross which was removed from the spot several years ago. It can now be seen in the basement of the Town Hall (now the Crieff Tourist Information Centre).

Pretoria was a battle that took place during the Boer War in South Africa.
